Steel industry
Lubrication operations are a critical success factor in the steel industry due to their involvement in various complex techniques and machinery operations. We offer a range of lubrication solutions tailored to different processing processes in the steel industry. This includes requirements for water resistance, high-temperature resistance, corrosion protection, and more, which are essential conditions for our products. These performance characteristics offer numerous benefits to producers, including cost reduction, environmental protection, and extended equipment lifespan. Our solutions assist you in overcoming variables in the steel production process, such as abrasive dust or high-impact loads.
For critical applications in the steel industry, such as ladle turret, steel strip guiding wheels, or converter bearings, we offer exceptional products like Berutemp M 21 HT, Berutox M 21 KN, BECHEM High-Lub LT 2 EP, etc. Berutemp M 21 HT is a widely applicable high-temperature grease used in continuous casting machine guide roller bearings and lubrication in metallurgical plant hot slabs conveyor systems. Berutox M 21 KN impresses with its excellent temperature consistency, corrosion protection, and wear protection. BECHEM High-Lub LT 2 EP, an extreme-pressure lubricating grease, is engineered for rolling and sliding bearings as well as lubrication of machinery and equipment in the steel industry. Additionally, synthetic oils are ideal for oil and gas lubrication systems.
In the coking process, coal is pressed into coke after entering the coke oven at over a thousand degrees and then cooled. For the pressing machines used, we recommend using the Berulit GA series to lubricate and provide wear resistance and extended service life. In the sintering process, a series of mixing, baking, and crushing operations are performed in the sintering plant to form sintered products. The use of sintering machines, like the sintering strand cars, must withstand heat and dust. Therefore, we suggest using Berutox FH 28 KN for sintering strand car bearings, Berutox M 21 KN for slide rails, and BECHEM High-Lub FA 50 MO for heavy-duty bearings.
The BECHEM High-Lub FA series is used for lubricating hot screens and other peripheral equipment. BECHEM High-Lub FA 50 MO is used to lubricate the main spindle of the compacting press.
High-speed and impact loads can occasionally occur in hot rolling and cold rolling processes. For these processes, the lubricants used in the former must have resistance to production water and good high-temperature resistance, while the latter must resist chemically active rolling emulsions. Products like BECHEM High-Lub FA 67-400 KS are well-suited for heavy-load rolling bearings in hot and cold rolling applications, ideal for high-load situations. BECHEM High-Lub LT 2 EP is suitable for central lubrication of rolling mill tables and peripheral system components due to its good transmission and multifunctional lubrication properties. It's also suitable for central lubrication supplies for direct reduction systems.
The metallurgical process involves various technologies and machinery equipment, with different machines requiring entirely different lubrication products to meet demands. BECHEM Staroil G series, with a mineral base oil, offers excellent wear protection, exceptional aging resistance, and good load-carrying capacity. It can be applied to sliding bearings and guide rails.
