Bicycle industry
The structure of a bicycle can generally be divided into six systems: frame system, transmission system, wheel system, steering system, brake system, and accessories. The materials used have evolved to primarily include metal or carbon fiber for manufacturing bicycles. As this healthy and convenient mode of transportation becomes increasingly popular, cycling has turned into a national activity and an integral part of public transportation. The demand for bicycle performance is on the rise, and both the appearance and functionality of bicycles continue to evolve. Although the structure may seem simple, it is composed of intricate and complex components such as hubs, headsets, cassettes, cranksets, and more. Consequently, proper lubrication and maintenance are essential for ensuring smooth operation and maximizing the longevity of bicycles. For different components of bicycles, we provide various products tailored to your needs:
Bicycle components are often made from aluminum alloy. For metal processing, we recommend using the BECHEM Avantin series or BOTON S series to prevent oxidation reactions on the metal surfaces, while also extending the service life of the lubricants.
High-Lub LFB 2000, a NLGI consistency grade 2 white grease with lithium calcium soap base, is recommended for use in hubs. It can absorb moisture without affecting its consistency and avoids liquefaction leakage. It contains solid lubricants for emergency lubrication functions, effectively extending bearing life.
For hydraulic shock absorbers on bicycles, Berulub FR 16 is designed for O-ring seals in shock absorbers. It offers excellent rubber compatibility, doesn't degrade oil seals, and is based on synthetic PAO oil for outstanding adhesion. It prevents rubber O-rings from deteriorating due to temperature changes, thereby extending their lifespan.
Regarding the brake system, High-Lub SW 2V is a specialized lubricating oil for both the gear and brake cables. It can penetrate into the gaps of braided steel cables, reducing friction between the steel cables and plastic housing, enhancing the smoothness of braking and gear shifting, and preventing rust and corrosion of cables. This contributes to an improved riding safety experience.
Lastly, we recommend Berulub 932 Antiseize Paste for screw assembly. It prevents screws from rusting and corroding, leading to seizing. By applying a thin layer of the paste before screw assembly, it prevents destructive disassembly and thread hole damage, ensuring effortless and easy disassembly during the next maintenance.
